The Breakthrough ft. LaRussell

“The Breakthrough” is a collaborative initiative between Intuit, independent artist LaRussell, and his nonprofit Good Compenny—designed to support emerging artists in building independent, sustainable careers.

Launched in the lead-up to SXSW 2023, the campaign invited artists to participate in an open-verse challenge, with the opportunity to collaborate with LaRussell and perform live alongside him at SXSW. The initiative paired creative opportunity with financial empowerment, offering access to tools, education, and resources to help artists take control of both their craft and their financial future.

Spanning digital out-of-home, social, and creator-led activations, the campaign was built to generate awareness and drive participation at scale. Visually, the work combined bold, expressive design with motion that captured the energy and independence of the artists themselves—designed to quickly engage viewers and encourage action across high-traffic environments.

Motion Design | Animation
Collaborated closely with design teams to prepare and translate static layouts into motion-ready assets, contributing from design setup through final animation and delivery. Designed and animated motion assets across multiple aspect ratios, adapting the work for a wide range of out-of-home placements including digital kiosks, rideshare screens, gas stations, and social formats.
